Nowadays, there seems a confusing range of choice when it comes to selecting a worktop. Granite, which seems to be currently the most popular, is available in a bewildering array of colours and designs. If a modern look is your choice we also supply composite, quartz and acrylic surfaces.

Alternately, you might want to choose a solid-surfaced worktop such as Maia or Minerelle or a laminate surface. Wood is also used although it does tend to require high maintenance in wet areas, and is therefore often used in combination with granite. A new exciting product, Pyrolave, is an expensive, but unusual option.

Some of our work surfaces have the additional option of including up-stands (instead of tiles on the wall) and splashback behind the hob area.

The choice of sinks available range from stainless steel, ceramic, composite materials that resemble stone and enamelled cast iron. They come in many shapes and sizes. Your choice is governed by a number of things, but the greatest flexibility comes with using a bespoke work surface like granite.
